Challenges: Geographic


It is not possible for a government from any well-being country to be able to distribute water to not so well-being countries. Therefore, most countries are forced to be able to supply themselves and manage their water supply without any outside help. In many situations, however, the people are not even given the water to take care of. This is usually because the geography of their location isn't optimum for gathering water. In many countries, droughts are the reason why the country isn't able to supply water. Northern China has to face regular droughts, while southern China has water abundance, because of frequent floods and storms. Some areas in China are facing the worst droughts in the past century. 50 million have been affected by this drought, and 16 million don't have a daily access to water.
